About the Event
EAGG member Alison Lam is part of this group exhibition, Material Encounters: Stories of a Cosmopolis exploring how materials, memories and making connect people, places and cultures across generations in Penang.
Bringing together artists working with textiles, paper, natural pigments and other materials, the exhibition explores migration, cultural memory and interconnected identities. It is curated by Kenneth Wong See Huat and organised by People Ideas Culture, with Shō Hotel as venue partner.
20th November - 6th December, free admission.
