I'm Eileen,
I grew up in Vancouver, have long lived in London and am a 2.5th generation ('nissei-han') Japanese-Canadian (my dad was 1st and my mum was 2nd) with a British passport and family. I have roots and friends in many different places but I wanted to find a gang of friends here in the UK where I live, (you can read more about my motivations on the About page) to be able to share all those things I have found hard to share elsewhere. I'm a Hong Konger living in Cambridgeshire, UK, for 12 years.
One of my earliest childhood memories is watching cartoons with my cousins after school and having dinner at my Por Por (Grandma) every night with 10-15 family members.
Growing up, I was lucky to be surrounded by amazing women, and they continue to be my role models. I can't wait to meet you so we can learn and grow together in a friendly, supportive gang.
